Evergreen Cellars has wines from Washington state as far north as the San Juan Islands and North Cascades to as far east as Spokane, down to Walla Walla and all through the East side of the state on up through the Leavenworth area, and even the coastal regions of Port Angeles and Sequim. Oregon has shared its wealth in wines from Yamhill County to Willamette to the Umpqua Valley as far down as Eugene... as well as the Rogue Valley. We have wines from the Gorge, Hood River and as close to Walla Walla as they can get without being Washington. Idaho has shared wines from Pend'Oreille to C'oer d'lene and we are on a quest to go get more! They are coming on fast. We carry the wines with names that many of us already know, like Walla Walla Winery's Cabernet Sauvignon, Patit Creek's Merlot, Piety Flat's Chenin Blanc, Hinman Vineyards Riesling, Thurston Wolfe's Zinfandel, Barrister's Cabernet Franc and Betz Family winery's Syrah, but have found many more varieties that people have never tried too, such as Chateau Lorane's Marachal Foch, Giradet's Baco Noir, Mt. Baker Vineyards Sieggrebe, San Juan Vineyard's Madeline Angevine, Willakenzie's Gamay Noir, Abaceala's Tempranillo, and Napeequa's Malbec. Have you tried a Cascade Cliff's Nebbiolo, The Waving Tree Barbera, Tamarack's Sangiovese or a couple Rhone varieties being grown, like the McCrea Counoise and Morrison Lanes's Cinsault? Who knew that Dolchetto from Oregon and Washington could be so wonderful, too! Just arrived-McCrea's 2006 Mourvedre-dynamite! We have them here at Evergreen Cellars! Come see us! Many, many names you'll recognize and some you won't. Weather permitting, we're off to get those special wines from Va Piano, or Chateau Lorane, Piety Flats, Napeequa, Vin du Lac, Bethel Heights, and more...so many more.... The Pacific Northwest has long been voted one of the most wonderful places to live. Now we are fast becoming one of the great places to grow wine grapes and produce award winning wines with great flavors.. 2nd to California in production, 3rd to Oregon in appellations and now competing for world recognition. That old cliche "We have it all here in the Northwest" really stands true. Over 250 Wineries and Vinyards currently represented at Evergreen Cellars... and counting! |
